So, it’s got a nice lingering sweetness to it. I was expecting it to be over-powering since I couldn’t spread it thin, but its perfect sweetness, even in after-taste, which is really important to me with sweet things.
Being someone who grew up on jelly, I’m used to thicker texture. I’ve also tried jam as I’ve gotten older, which seems to have a smoother texture. This preserves finds itself more on the smooth side, but still holding a bit thinker texture than a jam.
Looking forward to using this on and in more than just toast!

This wonderful Huckleberry Jam is not too sweet not too tart! As it is a preserve it mixes well in recipes to add a delicious berry flavor to your favorite recipe. The color profile is rich and bright and you just know your getting freshness in a jar.
